Rutwik Shrikant Patel is a 2021 batch graduate from the Electronics department of K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering. His interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analysis, Embedded Systems, and Software Development.
He currently works as a Research Assistant at Ninad's Research Lab, Thane, Maharashtra, India. His main duties consist of assisting Dr. Ninad Mehendale in researching a variety of fields. At the lab he has worked on Computer Vision-based object tracking in videos, using Lidar to build an interactive interface on vertical surfaces, using Restricted Boltzmann Machines to remove blur from MRI scans, designing a higher resolution NMR coil, using multi-spectral imaging to analyze fruits and vegetables, designing systems to reduce the transit time of ambulances, etc.
His technical skill set includes fluency in using programming languages like C/C++, Python, Javascript, Embedded C, and Matlab. He has considerable experience in using frameworks like Angular, Ionic, Quarteus, and LTSpice. He has completed internships in signal processing and VHDL programming.
