Arnav Parag Gadre is a technology enthusiast, pursuing B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai. His areas of interest include Embedded Systems, Computer Programming, Machine Learning and Circuit Designing. His internships at companies like Tata Elxsi and Introtuce, in addition to the ones on campus, account for over 600 hours of work experience.
Currently working as a Research Assistant at Ninad’s Research Laboratory, Thane; he is developing a ‘LiDAR Based Smart Wall’ which can be used to convert any wall into a touch screen monitor at a very affordable price. He is also working on an ‘Autonomous Self Driving Vehicle’ which is an integration of the concepts of Deep Learning, Computer Vision and LiDAR technology. Having previously completed projects like ‘RFID Based Attendance Monitoring System’ and ‘Wi-Fi based RGB Lamp’, his zeal to learn translates into his thinking and problem-solving skills.
Arnav was a part of the 4 member team that represented India at the ‘28th China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC) 2013’ at Nanjing, China; and won the ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ for his project ‘The Plantation Saver’. The project received a great deal of admiration in India, as well as overseas.
Arnav’s skills include his proficiency in C, C#, Python, Arduino and Raspberry Pi. He is well versed with software like LTspice, MATLAB, Eagle and AutoCAD. Besides his academics and co-curricular activities, Arnav is an admirer of music, and is learning to play Tabla since the last 10 years. He also happens to be an avid football player, and enjoys an evening kickabout every now and then.
